The Totem T12 Series marks the beginning of a new chapter. Built upon Tiziano - Totem's first proprietary modular vehicle architecture - the T12 is an evolving family of limited-production automobiles conceived entirely from the ground up.

Engineering freedom
Tiziano is the proprietary mechanical architecture at the heart of the T12 Series.
Designed from a clean sheet, it integrates the monocoque, subframes, powertrain, transmission, suspension, steering, braking and primary auxiliary systems within one cohesive technical foundation.
At its core lies a structural carbon-fibre central monocoque connected to aluminium front and rear subframes. A modular upper structure allows different body configurations to be developed without altering the fundamental engineering architecture beneath them.
Free from pre-existing platforms, Tiziano gives Totem the freedom to determine every proportion, dimension and dynamic characteristic from the very beginning.

During the 1950s and 1960s, the great Italian coach-builders transformed shared mechanical foundations into profoundly different automobiles.
A chassis did not impose a single shape. It became the starting point for designers and craftsmen to explore new proportions, volumes and ideas, giving each creation an identity of its own.
The T12 Series reinterprets this principle for a new age.
Upon the Tiziano platform, Totem will develop different coachbuilt automobiles, each possessing its own formal language, purpose and personality while sharing the same underlying engineering DNA.
The T12 Series is therefore not defined by a single silhouette. It is an evolving family of automobiles through which Totem can explore different interpretations of timeless Italian design.

Designed without compromise.
Separating the technical architecture from its formal expression allows engineering and design to evolve together without one becoming subordinate to the limitations of the other.
The principal mechanical hard points remain consistent, while the modular structure above them provides the freedom to create open or closed automobiles with different proportions, surfaces and volumes.
Every line can therefore be defined around a clear aesthetic intention. Every technical component can be positioned around the dynamic character the automobile is intended to possess.

The return of true tailor-made.
For Totem, tailor-made means more than selecting colours and materials.
It is a shared creative process in which the client works directly with Totem's designers, engineers and craftsmen to define the character of the automobile.
Bodywork details, lighting elements, air intakes, exterior components, materials, finishes and interior configurations can all be reinterpreted around the personality and intentions of its owner.
The Tiziano platform provides the technical foundation. The dialogue between Totem and the client gives the automobile its definitive form.
The result is something more personal than a conventional limited-production car: a one-off within a series.
