TOTEM AUTOMOBILI UNVEILS “AMELIE,” THE NEW GT ELECTRIC No. 16 OF THE GT SERIES PROGRAM

Treviso, December 5, 2025- Totem Automobili reveals “Amelie,” the GT Electric No. 16, marking the latest step in the Veneto-based manufacturer’s GT Series program. As with all of the brand’s creations, every aspect of this car has been shaped through a meticulous, bespoke process developed in close collaboration with the client.

Its exterior features a unique metallic “Lagoon Teal,” a colour crafted specifically by Totem as a tribute to Venice, the company’s birthplace. The character of the car is further refined by a satin bronze exterior and interior trim, paired with an extended matte carbon-fiber package that, for the first time, blends Totem’s signature weave with a herringbone pattern - an element never before introduced on a GT Electric. The interior, upholstered in Nappa leather in the shade “Truffle Brown,” is enriched by a pied-de-poule motif created exclusively for this vehicle, reflecting the same dedication to a refined and deeply personalised environment.

From a technical standpoint, the car incorporates the electronically controlled suspension system developed with the Como based ORAM, enabling independent adjustment of the front and rear axles - an uncommon feature in road-going cars and a testament to Totem’s commitment to pairing aesthetic research with engineering development to deliver a driving experience that is vivid, engaging, and full of character.

Particular attention has also been given to the client’s personal preferences: Totem’s craftsmen have integrated a bespoke cigar humidifier inside the cabin, made using the same materials selected for the vehicle’s configuration.

On the occasion of the unveiling, the Totem Automobili team shared a reflection on the philosophy behind their work: “We are Italian, born and raised in the cradle of automotive culture, in a country that has helped to shape the world’s passion for cars. Our task is to carry this tradition forward, even within the electric segment, though our hearts remain tied to mechanics and combustion. The electric car can hardly replace what a combustion engine conveys in terms of emotion, freedom, and the human connection to the very idea of the automobile. Still, we have learned to appreciate its qualities where they emerge, also behind the wheel. In our small way, we try to emphasise these virtues through a design and an approach to automotive craftsmanship capable of inspiring desire and emotion, even when the sound, vibration, and visceral presence of an engine are absent.”
